After watching  the above video from CNN,It seems someone is playing a  joke or an illusion but this has got America buzzing.A real MJ ‘thriller’

Then in those months Pakistan as a nation has seen worse times in the history.Taliban,Bomb Blasts,Attacks,Rules,what not.Whole nation suffered badly due to terror.

But today whole nation has got a reason to smile.Quite ironically,the same Sri Lankan team faced them in finals of the ICC T20 world cup at Lords in England.And the Pakistan Team won and are the champions of the world.Whole Pakistan has one single reason to rejoice.Pakistan as India take their cricket very seriously.The image of Shahid Afridi scoring the winning runs and Pakistani team running with the World Cup will remain with the people of Pakistan in days to come.

This was the right time for Pakistan to see something like this to happen when daily they suffer on the hands of terror.Pakistan for few days to come will be in news for their world cup victory( i hope).

I hope this marks a new beginning for them.This is the power of sports.

Nothing has been said bad about the anthem or indians.Nothing is abusive.But still it modifies the anthem quite a lot.

I am no one to comment on this.But i just found it so am putting it on my blog.

I also found the following news item on the net

India’s Apex court, the Supreme Court of India criticised Ram Gopal Varma for distorting the national anthem in his forthcoming film ‘Rann’. SC said that RGV’s new movie is giving national anthem a ‘totally negative senses’.

Apex court also refused to quash the order passed by the Censor Board on May 8, directing Verma to delete certain ‘objectionable’ reference made to the national anthem in the movie.

Rann also stars Ritiesh Deshmukh and Gul Panag.

Now I dont know whether is the team that wrong in telling truth through national anthem or is modifying national anthem itself wrong?

I personally think modifying national anthem is not a very good thing to do.For telling your views (as told in video),there are better methods available.Ram Gopal Verma thinks he can try different things to sell his movies but i dont think so there is a very thin line between courage and foolishness or sense and insensibility.

We hear in various songs especially Punjabi Songs names of Saida,Kaido,Chuchak,Dheedo and places like Takhat Hazara,Jhang.But how many of us actually know who they are and where they are?

So here is the complete story of Heer Ranjha

Heer is an extremely beautiful woman, born into a wealthy Jatt family of the Sayyal clan in Jhang. Ranjha (whose first name is Dheedo; Ranjha is the surname), also a Jatt, is the youngest of four brothers and lives in the village ‘Takht Hazara’ by the river Chenab. Being his father’s favorite son, unlike his brothers who had to toil in the lands, he led a life of ease playing the flute (‘Wanjhli’/'Bansuri’). After a quarrel with his brothers over land, Ranjha leaves home. In Waris Shah’s version of the epic, it is said that Ranjha left his home because his brothers’ wives refused to give him food. Eventually he arrives in Heer’s village and falls in love with her. Heer offers Ranjha a job as caretaker of her father’s cattle. She becomes mesmerised by the way Ranjha plays his flute and eventually falls in love with him. They meet each other secretly for many years until they are caught by Heer’s jealous uncle, Kaido, and her parents Chuchak and Malki. Heer is forced by her family and the local priest or ‘mullah’ to marry another man called Saida Khera.

Ranjha is heartbroken. He is left to walk the quiet villages on his own until eventually he meets a ‘Jogi’ (ascetic). After meeting Baba Gorakhnath, the founder of the “Kanphata“(pierced ear) sect of ascetics(‘Jogis’), at ‘Tilla Jogian’ (the ‘Hill of Ascetics’, located 50 miles north of the historic town of Bhera, Sargodha District, Punjab (Pakistan)), Ranjha voluntarily becomes a Jogi, piercing his ears and renouncing the material world. Reciting the name of the Lord, “Alakh Niranjan”, on his travels around the Punjab, he eventually finds the village where he is reunited with Heer.

The two return to Heer’s village, where Heer’s parents agree to their marriage. However, on the wedding day, Heer’s jealous uncle Kaido poisons her food so that the wedding will not take place. Hearing this news, Ranjha rushes to aid Heer, but he is too late, as she has already eaten the poison and died. Brokenhearted once again, Ranjha takes the poisoned Laddu (sweet) which Heer has eaten and dies by her side.

Heer and Ranjha are buried in a Punjabi town in Pakistan called Jhang, Punjab. Lovers and others often pay visits to their mausoleum.

So this was the story of Heer Ranjha.

In the end i will like to also write Kuldeep Manak’s Heer Version.This song is kinda Summer of 69 evergreen.Many people may not like it but guys its great.I am also putting the audio and also the lyrics.

So comes the event which i had been waiting The Euro 2008.I am a bit disappointed that England is not there but still France is there.The great Thierry Henry will be there.Ronaldos,Torreses,Ballacks,Abidals,Cechs,Fabregases phew list will not finish.I am highly excited for this event.The top image is my dedication and passion for football converted to a JPEG.Actually this is the team i chose for fantasy football in EURO 2008 official website.And then i used the tried and tested Photoshop for making this image using all images of MY STARS and official EURO wallpaper.
